A. Bryce Dixon
Million Dollar Advocates Forum, National Institute of
Trial Advocacy, William H. Leary Scholar, Phi Kappa
Phi. In 1993 Mr. Dixon presented
seminars to the Nevada Bar on expert witness testimony
and complex litigation.
Recently, Mr. Dixon succeeded in
obtaining a $4.4 million settlement for a Northern Nevada
man who was burned over 30 percent of his body when
gas cans he was filling on his truck bed liner exploded
with fire, ignited by static electricity. The Defendants
included a major oil company and car manufacturer. Following
that Mr. Dixon filed suit against major national corporations
for a man injured in a Montana fire. He succeeded in
obtaining a settlement in excess of $2 million.
Last year Mr. Dixon obtained a large
but confidential settlement for a family whose daughter
fell to her death from a 70 foot cliff. The defendant
was a youth wilderness program guilty of several violations
of Utah law.
Mr. Dixon has recently prevailed in a trial over a multimillion dollar real estate partnership that involved nearly 10,000 documents, 50 parcels of real property, and thousands of accounting transactions where the defendant commingled his assets with the partnership.
Bryce Dixon, managing partner at
Dixon, Truman, & Fisher, has been practicing
law in Nevada and Utah since 1980. He practices in areas
of catastrophic injuries, fire related injuries, brain
injuries, negligence, products liability, professional
wrongdoing, insurance bad faith, and commercial and
partnership litigation. Mr. Dixon has substantial trial
and appellate court experience. He is a member of the
Million Dollar Advocates Forum; and a graduate of the
National Institute of Trial Advocacy College. He has
three cases published by the Supreme Court:

Mr. Dixon is a member of the Utah
and Nevada State Bar Associations and admitted as well
to practice before the United States District Court
for the District Court of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit
Court of Appeals. Mr. Dixon also is a member of the
American Trial Lawyers Association and Nevada Trial
lawyers Association. He speaks Spanish and is conversant
in Italian.
Mr. Dixon is a member of the Utah
and Nevada State Bar Associations. He also is admitted
to practice before the United States District Court
for the District Court of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit
Court of Appeals.
He obtained both his Bachelor and
Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Utah, where
he was the William H. Leary Scholar, and a member of
Phi Kappa Phi.

Ronald W. Truman
Ron Truman joined Bryce Dixon in 1994 to form Dixon & Truman. He practices in the litigation arena, handling contract and insurance disputes, collections, mechanic's lien foreclosures, personal injury, and product liability litigation. Mr. Truman also handles transactional matters, including the drafting of contracts and the creation of corporations and limited liability companies.
He began his legal career with Kirkland & Ellis, a national law firm, where he handled complex commercial litigation, representing such clients as Hughes Aircraft Company, Motorola and Dunn & Bradstreet.
Mr. Truman obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he majored in business management, with a concentration in finance. He graduated with High Distinction and as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and in the top 10 percent of his class. At BYU, he was awarded the prestigious Order of the Coif for his academic excellence.
While in law school, Mr. Truman
was the Lead Articles Editor for the BYU Law Review,
and published two articles:

Mr. Truman is a member of the State Bar Associations in Nevada, California, Illinois, Arizona and Utah. Mr. Truman has been awarded an AV rating, based upon attorney and judicial surveys, in Martindale-Hubbell. The AV rating identifies a lawyer with very high to preeminent legal ability and is an indication of a lawyer’s expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence. Mr. Truman also was admitted to the distinguished Million Dollar Advocates Forum because of the multi-million dollar settlements he sucessfully negotiated for his personal injury clients

Nathan K. Fisher
Nathan Fisher joined the firm's St. George practice in 1997. He began his legal career with a small litigation firm in Provo, Utah where he developed a civil litigation practice.
After obtaining a bachelor degree in business management from Brigham Young University, he received his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School where he graduated Cum Laude in the top twenty percent of his class.
He is admitted to the Utah, Nevada and U.S. District of Utah Courts. He is currently a Judge Pro Tempore in the Fifth Judicial District Small Claims Court in St. George, Utah.
Mr. Fisher is a member of the Utah State Bar Association, the Southern Utah Bar Association, and the Nevada Bar Association. He is also a member of the Southern Utah Home Builders Association where he presents seminars covering topics including Utah and Nevada mechanics lien laws, collecting unpaid services, and contracting. He is fluent in spoken and written Spanish.

D. Shane Clifford
Shane Clifford joined the firm in 1999. He practices
in the areas of negligence, civil rights, products liability,
contract and insurance disputes, insurance bad faith,
collections and mechanic's lien foreclosures.
Mr. Clifford obtained two undergraduate
degrees from the University of Utah, graduated cum laude
and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Kappa Tau
Alpha Honor Societies. He obtained his Juris Doctor
from the Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law
School where he graduated from Magna Cum Laude in the
top 10 percent of his class and as a member of the Order
of the Coif.
Mr. Clifford is a member of the
State Bar of Nevada and is licensed to practice in the
United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

Lisa A. Rasmussen
Lisa Rasmussen joined the firm in 2000. She practices
in the areas of commercial civil litigation including
contract disputes, collections and mechanic lien foreclosures,
personal injury, and state and federal criminal defense.
Ms. Rasmussen began her legal career
in San Diego where she worked for Eugene Iredale, a
nationally known criminal defense attorney. She obtained
her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University
and her Juris Doctor from California Western School
of Law.
She is admitted to practice law
in Nevada and California, the United States District
Courts for the District of Southern California, the
District of Nevada, and the District of Colorado. She
also is admitted to the Federal Court of Claims and
the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Rasmussen is on the board of
directors for Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice,
a member of the National Association for Criminal Defense
Lawyers, the California Public Defender's Association,
California Attorneys for Criminal Justice and the Southern
Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.

Robert H. Domico
Robert Domico joined the firm in 2001. He practices
in the areas of construction, mechanic's lien foreclosures,
contract disputes, collections, personal injury, real
estate law and bankruptcy.
Mr. Domico began his legal career
working for the Office of the Chief Judge of the Circuit
Court of Cook County, Illinois as a member of its legal
research division. Since then, he has worked as a law
clerk in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court
of Cook County, Illinois, in the civil litigation office
of the Cook County State's attorney's office, as an
associate with a prominent Illinois law firm and as
a sole practitioner in Chicago, Illinois and Las Vegas,
Nevada.
Mr. Domico obtained his undergraduate
degree in criminal justice from Southern Illinois University
where he graduated with honors and as a member of the
Golden Key National Honor Society. He obtained his Juris
Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago
where he also graduated with honors in the top 15 percent
of his class and as a member of the Order of John Marshall.
Mr. Domico is admitted to practice
law in Nevada and Illinois, as well as the United States
District Court for the District of Northern Illinois
and the District of Nevada.
Mr. Domico is a member of the State
Bar Associations in Illinois and Nevada, the Clark County
Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the
Nevada Trial Lawyers Association.

David W. Hunter
David joined the firm in 2004. His practice areas include business entity formations, contract litigation, real estate disputes, real estate transactions, real estate foreclosures, and mechanic’s liens. He began his career with a firm in San Diego, California where he practiced primarily creditor’s rights and bankruptcy law.
After obtaining a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Southern Utah University, he received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.
He is member of the State Bar of Utah and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Utah.

C. Andrew Wariner
Andrew Wariner recently joined the firm. He practices in the areas of plaintiff personal injury, trusts and estates, criminal defense, and general civil and commercial litigation, including insurance matters.
Mr. Wariner began his legal career in the legal department of Valley Bank of Nevada, (now Bank of America) where he served as Assistant Vice President, Assistant Legal Counsel and Trust Counsel for the Bank’s multi-branch Nevada operations.
Mr. Wariner has extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury matters. As an insurance defense attorney he has represented a variety of corporations, insurance companies, and individuals in the defense of cases involving fire and flood, auto accident, slip and fall, construction defect and catastrophic injury. He has also represented many plaintiffs in personal injury cases.
Mr. Wariner’s has served as a public defender for Washington County, Utah.
Mr. Wariner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa Law School. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and Utah and also before the Federal District Courts of Nevada and Utah and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Wariner is a member of the Nevada and Utah Bar Associations.
